– Don’t ignore symptoms of high altitude illness; prioritize prompt attention and response.

Avoid Certain Substances:
– Don’t consume alcohol, caffeinated drinks, or smoke during the Yatra.

Altitude Response Protocol:
– If experiencing altitude illness, avoid ascending further. Descend immediately to an elevation where acclimatization is possible.

Exercise Caution with Fellow Yatris:
– Don’t unquestionably accept everything a sick Yatri says, as their judgment may be impaired. Exercise caution and seek professional advice if needed.
